We were very excited to meet our newest cousin yesterday. This is Sophia. She was born weighing a little over 6 lbs. Its funny what a baby does to children. My daughter asked me a month ago if she HAD to have a baby when she grows up. I told her that she didn't but her mommy would like to be a grandma someday and that could only happen if either her or her brothers have children. She was determined that it wouldn't be her. Well, ever since the news of our new cousin being born, Tara has been going crazy wanting to see her. And now she has (with open arms). She wanted to hold Sophia the entire time. She kept examing her from head to toe. She kissed her several times. She did have to let her brother Triston hold her for a little bit but she had to have her back as soon as he was done. She also asked if Sophia could spend the night and Tara even offered to sleep with her. When that didn't go her way, she asked why I couldn't get a baby like that.
