Baseball Fundraiser

The high school baseball team put on a family fun night for kids in grades 1 thru 6. Parents get to drop off their kids, pay $5 each, and do what they want for a few hours (with a pick up time of 9pm). Triston was able to participate in all the fun and games and Cameron had the luxury of supervising the little ones. Unfortunately, Tara wasn't old enough. I dropped them off and hung around to take some pictures, with my old camera (still waiting on the new one).

They had their choice of many different sports. The games occupied 3 different gyms. My boys were only interested in dodge ball. I am wondering, what is so great about dodge ball? This was my least favorite thing to do when I was in school. Maybe its just the girl in me. Anyways, here are the Bradshaw Boys in action.

I love that they are working together. I actually told Cam that he needed to look after Triston. It was a week ago in the same gym that Triston received his black eye. I was worried about sending him to this so what I did is wrote my cell phone number on his arm. This way, if he was hurt and crying, he could show them his arm. They could call me this time.

They got to eat pizza and drink pop.
Cam got to hang with his friends.
I am not sure how much help the older kids were. They seemed more interested in playing with each other than helping the younger kids. This next pic shows Cam a little shocked and Cory pointing at him. This was all because I was hit with the ball. Hhmmm, I bet that was on purpose.
Here is another action shot. Triston really wailed the ball here. He was aiming for Cam's friend Sam who was on the other team.
