Mine has been crazy. Cameron and his friends ventured out this afternoon for a bike ride and realize that Cam's bike had been stolen. Uuurrgghhh! This is a bike that we HAD to buy him because the one before that had been stolen. Besides both of Cameron's bikes being stolen, Terry's was also stolen last year. (wonder why they leave mine and the little kids bikes in the yard, lol) Then of course we had the issue a few months ago regarding Cam's shoes being stolen out of his school locker. I'm telling you, this is getting ridiculous.
The good part of this story is that Cam and his friends ventured downtown anyways and spotted his bike. They questioned the kid riding it and that kid carried it into his house. Cam came home to tell us and we proceeded with the police department after that. Luckily, the bike had some identifying marks like the brand new master link on the chain and duck tape on the seat along with missing brakes. The cop went down there and looked at it and could tell that the duck tape was removed, the brakes were still missing, and the master link was brand new. The officer brought the bike back to us. I'm feeling lucky since most bikes are never recovered.
