Someone was mean to Tara :O

We were at Cameron's baseball game tonight and Tara came to us several times crying because there were a couple of girls (sisters) that said some mean things to her and threw Tara's things on the ground. They said things to her like "you can't play with us" and "you are too slow". We just told Tara to find someone else to play with. Finally towards the end of the second game Tara comes to me and is really mad because Triston is playing with one of the girls. We told her to go and try to play again but be nice. Tara then whispers to me "mom, if she is mean to me again, can I be mean back?" She had this evil look on her face but her big brown eyes sparkled at the same time. It is hard to take her seriously some times. I immediately told her that she couldn't do mean things back. I have actually been working overtime lately trying to instill this into her. We all know that she can be a little bully herself. Anyways... her dad, who is sitting right next to me, tells her to go ahead and be mean back. What??? So then I am a little worried and ask Tara what will she do if the girl is mean again and Tara looked right at me and says, "Oooohhhh, you know, uuugghhh, you know" with a very tough, tense voice. As for me, I have no idea what she is talking about. I don't know if she was planning a throw down or what, I never got the details out of her because the entire stadium was laughing at that point and she took off.

I am happy to report that she never had to be mean back. As a matter of fact, she came to me with the little girl to tell me that the little girl is being nice now. Oh my, so much drama.
