This was their best game ever. They won the game and both Triston and Tara played great. They both hit the ball several times. They even got extra playing time because a lot of the kids didn't show up. This meant that no one had to take a turn on the bench and everyone played infield.
Triston hits this ball HARD.

Check out what he did to that ball
The coach gave him the broken ball to keep. He's been showing it off to everyone.

Tara is the most serious ball player ever. She may be the youngest player on this team but you would never guess by her playing skills. You can look around and at anytime see players drawing in the dirt, looking for bugs, or just doing their own thing but you will never catch Tara focusing on anything but the game. She stays on task and focused. Recently, Tara was looking straight up the field watching the ball and one of the little boys came up behind her and was poking at her. She never even looked back at him, she simply lifted her hand and pushed him back. He decided that she was no fun and left her alone but it was cute that she wasn't gonna take her eyes off that ball.
She was the pitcher during part of this game. She loves this because she gets so much action. Mason is the catcher and has the ball. He scans the field and prepares to throw it to Tara. As always, she is ready.

Then she makes her next move.
Tara did really good at hitting today also. As a matter of fact, she was so proud because she made it all the way around and scored a point for her team.

Now for the funniest part of the game.
Remember how I was talking about kids not paying attention? Triston was feeling a little bit on the bored side and decided to pop a bubble while he waited for some action to come his way.
So, what's a boy to do with a bubble in front of his face and a ball on its way? Well, try to catch it, of course. Well, that is if you can see the ball hit the glove. Apparently, Triston couldn't see and the ball went past his glove and fell to the ground but look, he still has his bubble.

He finally got the ball but Oops...the bubble fell out of his mouth.

So, what's the best thing to do?

Go back to the game and pretend like the bubble laying on the field doesn't exist.
Once the game ended...

Triston and Tara received their awards.
