We all know how much Tara loves ice cream and our neighborhood has an ice cream truck that drives through every evening. We are so lucky, not. I was actually thinking that maybe I could bribe the ice cream truck driver to "not" come down our road. Every time she drives by we have kids running out of their homes and straight to the road with their money. Only problem here, we are not willing to give our kids money every single day to be handed right over for ice cream. We did make a deal with Triston and Tara recently...every day that they cleaned their rooms and made their bed, they could have $1 for that day. It would be an allowance. So, you are wondering, how is this working out for them? Its not. Cleaning a bedroom is like torture. But Tara thinks she has a better way to make the money that she needs for her daily ice cream fix. She's just going to pull out all her teeth since the toothfairy pays $1 for each tooth under her pillow. She's a crazy kid. Pulling teeth is easier than cleaning a bedroom? Hmm.
Tara soon learned that pulling her teeth wasn't as easy as she thought. She quickly sought out an older, more experienced tooth puller. Steven loves a challenge and was willing to help.
Steven tied dental floss to her tooth and then tied the floss to the door. Once it was set up, they slammed the door.
The floss just slid off her tooth. They tried this a few times and then finally decided dental floss was too slippery.
Then they tried fishing line. Terry had to get in on the action for this one.

The fishing line didn't work either. Tara sat down feeling defeated. She tells us that we need to figure out a way to get the tooth out of there. She tried working on it herself.

Staci suggested that she try toilet paper. That worked for Staci.
That didn't work either. Tara ended up walking back to her house crying in defeat. Poor thing. She must really love the ice cream trucks ice cream.
