The Helpful Triston

I was browsing through some pictures from 2008 that never made it on the blog and once I saw these, I knew I had to post.

This was a busy morning where we had just taken showers and were rushing to get out the door. Triston has no problem getting himself ready right away but Tara, on the other hand, only does what she has to. She thought she was ready and turned on the video game to play. I told her that she needed to get her hair brushed and she instantly began her argument that she was playing a game. Having her hair brushed is her least favorite thing to do. Triston was quick to volunteer his services though, "Can I brush your hair, Tara?" She agreed, it was worth it to not have to stop her game.
Triston was able to get all the snarl's out and then he went to get her box of hair stuff. He picked out a couple of rubber bands and then proceeded to put those in her hair. He knew what he wanted to do. He talked about a girl at his school and how her hair looked and he wanted to try that style for Tara. And...the makeover results...I love it when they get along like this.
