Easter Cupcakes

We tried something different this year. We have been coloring eggs for Easter for the last 15 years and no one ever eats them. Sure they have tried to but yuck. Anyways, I asked them if they would rather make cupcakes or color eggs. I explained my idea. We would buy candy and frosting of different flavors, colors, sizes, and textures. I colored coconut flakes in different colors, same with the frosting. We tried different frosting tips for spreading it on the cakes. They LOVED it. Look at the mess we made.
