Tonight's picture is of our typical Triston. He enjoys learning no matter the route he chooses. He is a very smart boy who is getting all A's in school. He loves reading books and researching and exploring. He finds something to learn about everyday. He is also very critical of other peoples work. He is only 8 years old but will quickly point out an incorrect spelling in a book or a sentence that is not worded correctly. He has even come home from school and jumped on the internet to look up information that his teacher misspoke on. I can't remember the details of it, it was something about the different parts of the flag and what they represent.
I sometimes wonder if Triston has what they would consider a photographic memory. I remember bed shopping a few years ago where we went to 7 different furniture stores. We were in Holland, Kalamazoo, and Grand Rapids. We were all very confused and fustrated by the time we left the last store. We were trying to make a decision on beds for each kid and couldn't even remember what we saw and where. Then Triston started rattling off every store name, in the order that we went to them, and the beds that we looked at when we were there. He quickly helped his family get back on track. He really amazes me sometimes.
This picture shows Triston being Triston. He chose a book of puzzles to work on tonight.
