I gave
Triston a budget to buy books at the
Scholastic's book fair. My intentions were for him to buy "books". Instead he came home with this
CSI kit.
He had done some reading in the little book that gives him tips and explains how to be a
CSI.

He has been very serious in his investigations. He has finger printed everyone in the house. He walks around looking for fingerprints. Believe me...he doesn't have to look hard. When he finds a fingerprint, he dust it carefully with his little brush and special green powder.

After dusting the print he then has to lift it with tape and apply it to black paper.

Then he is ready to examine the print and compare it to the prints that he has on record. Its really cute to watch him. He asked me "how fast can a thumb grow?" Apparently he found a match that wasn't the exact same size as any of his records. I guess I should explain to him that he should be
comparing the lines in the thumbs, not the size.
