I was invited to photograph Staci's Sweet 16 birthday party. It was a
surprise for her. Her mom went all out on formal dresses, hats, lace gloves, jewelry, etc. There was a lot to choose from. The girls had a makeover then they chose their dresses and we went out on the town for some photos. It was a lot of fun. Tara is still talking about it (she was invited too). I took around 300 photos so I will pick and choose a few to show. This one is the birthday girl right after her hair was styled.

This is the group of friends minus Tara. She was
disappointed but I made her sit out on some of them.

We had some really harsh sun so I tried this shot in the sun and ran a vintage action on it to try and disguise the blown out areas.

This was the girls idea. They were actually full of ideas. That made my job easier. We were actually in a photography studio downtown. Thank you Diane, we appreciated the opportunity to warm up. (It was around 28 degrees during that day)

We wanted to get some shots on the bridge. The girls were really apprehensive about it but they soon realized they wouldn't get blown away or anything crazy.

Here is another sun issue photo. The sun glared right on the studio windows. The girls were "trying" to look like
mannequins. I tried many angles but the sun was unavoidable so I ran an action on it to make it fun.

Two more group shots.
