Birthday Boys (15 and 9 yrs. old)

I realize I'm late getting to these. Wow, its been crazy. We have baseball for all the kids now and are out to the fields every single day but Sunday's. So, here is as shot from the game. I didn't take many, its no fun when we're losing (actually, they won 1 and lost 1).
After baseball, we rushed home to take down the pink birthday decorations and put up the black, gray, and blue ones. The grandparents all came back for cake and ice cream again today.

By the way, Triston frosted his own cake. It might have been because Tara did hers yesterday but it didn't matter to us, one less thing for us to do. We are ok with that, especially this year.

Cam lit his candles. They were trick candles that had a sparkle affect. He wasn't sure that they were safe because they would spark on his hand every once in a while. We sung "Happy Birthday" and they blew out the candles.
Triston was trying to blow out one candle at a time (that's odd).

Cam tried blowing his out. When he thought they were done, a few would light back up.
They opened up their gifts. Our card to Cameron read, "Be bad on your Birthday" and then you open it up and it plays the music "Bad to the Bone" and the inside of the card said, "Be Very Bad". I wrote to him on the inside of the card, "not too bad though..." Triston got a musical card also. His music played the tune "All star".

They ended up getting a bunch of money.
