We all went out to watch Triston and Tara play their first game of the season. They actually did pretty well. Tara played pitcher. She just basically stands next to the coach at the pitching machine and catches the balls for him. She was lucky though since she was able to get in alot of playing time. Triston on the other hand was stuck out in the outfield and had to stand their the entire time. They all have to take turns so I will be able to get some better action shots of Triston in the near future.

Tara was so darn proud of herself. Look at her smiling here. This is right after the inning and she was walking back in after pitching. She looks right up at us just as proud as can be.

Poor Triston, he was just stuck in a bad position. Nothing ever comes his way. I am glad that he didn't resort to playing in the dirt to bypass his time.

We do a lot of laughing out there. These little kids are so funny. Triston kept stepping off the base like he was about to steal the next base. Well, this isn't allowed in the minor league but he has watched his big brother play and knows exactly how the game is supposed to be played. Unfortunately, after doing this several times, the coach told Triston that he had to stay on the base.

One last shot, just because I did a good job catching the ball in this photo. Tara has been struggling to hit the ball this year but it is understandable since it is her first year hitting off a pitching machine. She was actually too young to even play in this league but I talked to the director and asked for an exception because I couldn't take another year of T-ball (talk about boring). Anyways, when she does finally get a hit, she freezes for a moment in disbelief and then runs like mad. Once she reached first base she turned around again with the biggest smile on her face.
