Allegan Airport Fly-In

Our local airport held a fly-in on Saturday. Terry had to work for the fire department for the day. They had the fire trucks on stand by and they were basically there in case of an emergency or accident. Thankfully, they really didn't have to do anything.

I took Triston and Tara up there before lunch time. We checked out the antique cars that were on display and the few product booths that were there. The only thing Tara was interested in was to ride on one of the airplanes. She was all for it while Triston wanted nothing to do with it. Here is Tara in the plane getting ready to take off.
Then its off to the runaway.

And...there she goes.

Tara may have been a little nervous about riding in a plane but when she got off from the plane she immediately informed me that next time she goes up, she is jumping. I'm like... WHAT? She tells me like those other people that she seen with the chutes on. Throughout the day they had parachuters jumping out of planes for part of their show. Apparently, Tara thought that anyone who wanted to could do the jump.

After the plane ride, the kids got something to eat.
Triston bought a hot dog and pop and Tara got an elephant ear.

The two of them spent another hour or so playing around before it was time to go home.
