Poor Tara

She wanted to spend the night with Grandma Doris again but I had to take her to the doctor to have her ears checked. Tara says that it only hurts when she puts her finger in her ear. I almost didn't take her because an ear infection is usually really painful but I wanted to catch it as early as possible this time around. Last time she had double ear infections, inner and outer ears. It took a couple months to clear up and 3 different sets of medication.

I took her in and the doctor says she has an inner ear infection and has spread to the canal of the right ear. She is now taking an antibiotic and has ear drops to clear the canal. Worst part for her, she can't swim until Monday at the earliest. I talked to her about staying home for the night and then going to Grandma's Wednesday night. She agreed but then started talking about not ever getting to have any fun and I asked her if she wanted to go to the park. That would be fun. She agreed.

This is how it all started out at the park.

She was upset because she had no one to play with. There was one little boy on the playground but he was not what Tara had in mind for a playmate. Before long, this little boy started following Tara around.
I'm not going to post any others since I don't have his parents permission but these two had a really fun time. He pretended to be a monster and chased Tara all over. He was so fast that as soon as he got close to Tara she would put her hand out and yell "freeze" and he would stand there stiff while she got ahead of him.

We spent more than 2 hours down at the park and these two played together most of that time. They agreed to come back the next day and play together since it was nearly dark when we finally had to leave.

I've been trying to get really good swing pictures of Tara. She would only let me try a few shots and then she went back to play with her friend. Here's my favorite.
Maybe I can practice more tomorrow :)
